Introduction

The Modern Company for Fertilizer Production MCFP is a leading Jordan-based company specialized in producing & supplying NPK fertilizers in different forms including water-soluble, clear Liquid, suspension & paste. The offices & production plant are located in Abdullah II Industrial zone in Sahab; 30km south of capital Amman.

Agriculture is facing several challenges due to the increasing global population, decreasing areas under cultivation, and inadequate irrigation water, as well as lack of soil fertility in many cases. All these factors had enhanced the need of raising productivity per area by implementing modern agricultural solutions including specialty & water-soluble fertilizers rather than straight or granular fertilizers. MCFP founders recognized this fact and established MCFP in 1991, and its headquarter is in Jordan, which has a good geographic location, and most of the raw materials are available with good quality; mainly Potassium & Phosphorus.

Since its establishment, MCFP envisioned placing its name in the market as a quality supplier. This requires concerted efforts in the field of product research & development, well-oriented and trained staff, choosing the best raw materials sources, as well as compliance with local & international industry regulations, and minimizing the consequences of environmental impacts.

Based on this perspective and vision, MCFP products are highly appreciated in the local Jordanian market and 47 International importing markets. This global expansion is strengthened with credible distributors with whom MCFP succeeded to build long-lasting business relations based on MCFP values, commitment, and transparency.

Furthermore, MCFP is now engaged in under-license production agreements with well- known multinational fertilizers manufacturers.

The most significant milestone in MCFP history is the invention of paste fertilizer, which is a form that was proudly first-ever introduced by MCFP in this industry, under the name Amcopaste. The notion of paste NPK is integrating advantages of both solid & fluid NPK fertilizers; high concentrations of solid NPK with high solubility & homogeneity of fluids, both in chemically blended low pH form.
