Over time and with different years, many farmers notice that one crop is better than another crop while they are in the same cultivated area, and after many types of research and evidence it was found that the soil loses many of the properties that help plants grow, so when plants consume these elements in plant growth We need a new method that helps the soil to give each year a distinct crop, and it was discovered that animal manure in the past helped to improve the quality of the soil because it provides useful elements for the plant and from that time fertilizer became an essential part of agriculture and developed and gave many types to preserve the agricultural profession, including chemical fertilizers. In Pakistan, fertilizers are of great importance to them. In Pakistan, agricultural production is dominated by a number of crops that represent about 60% of the GDP, and agriculture in Pakistan is one of the most important engines of the Pakistani economy, so it was important for Pakistan’s neglectful interest in chemical fertilizers.
The use of nitrogen in livestock is a big problem, as the percentage of pasture is decreasing despite the increase in demand for meat, which leads farmers to rely on feed extracted from animal waste, where it is reused as fertilizer.
In nature, nitrogen is found naturally in the soil, but if its percentage in compost increases, it leaves negative effects on health, water, and the environment, and this may lead to the extinction of certain types of living organisms because when nitrates enter the drinking water, this increases the chance of cancer, and vegetables such as spinach and lettuce. If the percentage increases, it represents a great danger to them because it secretes enough intestinal acids to prevent nitrates from turning into the toxic nitrite.
Therefore nitrogen is one of the four most serious problems facing the planet, which may lead to a sudden and irreversible change. While the problems of climate change, cutting forests and volcanoes are of great importance, ignoring and ignoring nitrogen pollution poses a greater danger to humans>
Farmers' enthusiasm to increase the number of crops their land produces causes them to overuse synthetic nitrogen compounds. Ironically, these compounds usually destroy the soil rather than enrich it. What is surprising is the decline in the yield of fertilizers for plants over the past decades; As the global nitrogen use efficiency has declined from 50 percent in 1961 to about 42 percent today.
