It is one of the industrial chemical fertilizers and it has great popularity and demand for it is great, especially among the people of Pakistan, as the proportion of agricultural land in Pakistan is estimated at about 26% of the total land, and forests and pastoral grasses grow in it, which is a breeding ground for livestock, and Pakistan is also famous for the cultivation of rice, cotton and sesame. Hemp, sugar cane, corn, vegetables, fruits, citrus fruits, and grains.
And the nitrogenous substance has many benefits as well as damages, and it must be used in the right way so that we get results without harm.
Types of nitrogenous fertilizers
Firstly, nitrate fertilizers:
They contain nitrogen in the form of calcium nitrate and sodium nitrate. One of the uses of nitrate fertilizers is that they are useful for all plants and in all types of soil except for calcareous soils and have a high capacity that is lost by washing. Therefore it is advised to add them during the activity of sprouts and in order to give these nitrate fertilizers high quality, the presence of a Good level of phosphorous and molybdenum in the soil to help convert nitrates inside the plant.
Secondly, ammonium fertilizers
They contain nitrogen in the form of ammonium salts and dissolved ammonia
And liquid nitrogen fertilizers (ammonium water, anhydrous or waterless ammonia) and contain an acidic fertilizer that contains 21% of nitrogen, which is a well-soluble crystalline salt in water, and contains 24% sulfur, so it is a good source for plant nutrition with sulfur.
Third, ammonium nitrate fertilizers
It contains nitrogen in the form of ammonia and nitrate and is suitable for most crops with ammonium nitrate.
Fourth, urea fertilizers
It contains nitrogen in the form of amides. It is one of the finest types of nitrogen fertilizers that is equal to ammonium nitrate fertilizers for most crops - as for rice, it is equal to ammonium sulfate. For nitrogen, it is used for different types of lands and crops and is sometimes used as an additional, non-root fertilizer for fruit and vegetable crops. Urea fertilizer is used with plowing the land or spraying it over the soil during hoeing.
